What shipped in Fleetius.

Every change to a load now writes an immutable audit entry — who changed what, old value → new value — that nobody can edit or delete. Once accounting invoices a load, its status, charges and documents lock for other departments; new uploads (like a revised rate confirmation) wait in an approval strip with a bell to accounting. Two-driver loads split pay by miles with each driver's own rate structure (manual overrides included), and the second driver can finally be settled. Fuel imports carry both discounted and retail prices so owner-operators are charged the right one without re-imports, tolls get their own Finance page with transponder-aware imports, dispatch reviews AI-read rate confirmations side-by-side with the original document, and Safety gets an asset registry (iPass, tablets, fuel cards, dashcams, ELDs) with full custody history — who took it, when, and where it came back.

Org admins can now shape exactly who sees and edits what: role presets per org type (carrier, shipper, towing), a page-by-page view/edit matrix, and custom roles layered on top. The same permission map is enforced in the UI and the API — a parity test keeps the two byte-identical.

Impound lots got a real system: every held vehicle gets a custody record, daily storage accrues on a compute-and-freeze engine (so the bill is right even when the release happens mid-cycle), and the release flow walks the yard through charges, payment, and paperwork in one pass. Scene photos from the call ride along as evidence.

Shippers and brokers get a full workspace: quotes with a public bid board (carriers can bid as guests, no account needed), tenders that hand off directly into a carrier's TMS as a real load, plus shipments, orders, contracts with live acceptance rates, RFP events with lane-level bidding, and computed reports with CSV export.

Typing while fueling is nobody's favorite. Dispatch and drivers can now trade voice messages in every chat thread — recorded in the browser or the driver app, delivered with push notifications, playable inline on the load.

The paper chase ends at the dock: drivers capture the POD photo in the app, document OCR reads it and renders a verdict, dispatch approves, and only then does the load mark delivered. Invoicing keys off the same approval, so nothing gets billed on hope — and one POD vocabulary now runs through dispatch, documents, and accounting.

Three automations shipped, all supervised: an exception watchdog whose five detectors sweep every load around the clock (late pickup, delivery at risk, stale in transit, missing POD, delivered-not-invoiced), a check-call agent that pings quiet loads and reads the driver's reply, and a rate-con reader that turns PDFs into validated load drafts. Every proposed write lands in an approvals inbox, and every run leaves a step-by-step trace you can inspect.
